As a front-end developer you are responsible for a big part of the digital brand experience. You know better than anyone how to translate digital design into readable code, scalable frond-end and kick-ass animations. You have guts, ambition and you can take development at Stuurmen to a higher level.

You are capable of working on different projects at the same time and have no trouble switching. Whether this is within React or based on a content management system such as WordPress, Dato CMS or Contentful.

Perhaps the most important thing to us: you continue to amaze and inspire yourself, us and our clients.

What we are looking for

• You have that Kill off the average DNA;
  
  

• You have at least 1 year experience in a creative environment, e.g. design agency, digital agency or as a freelance developer;
  
  

• You work independent, but you enjoy collaborating with colleagues such as designers, online marketeers and hosting parties to turn every project into a commercial success;
  
  
• You translate digital design into readable code and fluid websites;
  
  
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript;
  
  
• You have experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Dato CMS or Contentful;
  
  
• You have experience with version control (Git);
  
  

• You take responsibility and initiative. You keep track of your own time and manage and prioritize your daily work.
  
  

• You can show us your outstanding track record;
  
  

• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
  
  

Pre 👇

• You are familiar with RESTful / GraphQL APIs;
  
  
• You have experience with React and/or Vue;
  
  

• Experience with SASS and knowledge of CSS techniques such as BEM(IT) and CSS Grid;
  
  
• You despise page builders within WordPress as much as we do;
  
  

• Deep love for Melo cakes;
